What does "Countdown to Princess" mean?
-Aside from losing weight, my goal is to run in the Disney Princess Half Marathon. A few years ago we visited Disney World around the time of the Princess Half Marathon, and the thought just stuck in my brain. I later found out that Disney has all sorts of races throughout the year, and have a runDisney program. I had no idea! So my weight loss is also a countdown to that race. I'm not exactly sure when I'll be ready. My current goal is to participate in that race in 2016.

What was your starting weight?
-My heaviest weight was 264 pounds.

What is your goal weight?
-My ultimate goal is to cut my initial weight in half, so 132 pounds. However, I've set smaller goals along the way. My first goal is to reach 225 pounds. From there I'd like to hit 199 pounds. Ideally, I would like to be under 200 pounds by the end of 2014.

    My husband and I are actually running in the 5k disney run in october. I weight 248 and wonder all the time if I can do it but I know I can.   3. Wow!! good luck in your race!! I know it can seem a bit scary to start the weight loss journey, but you're already running a 5k! that's much more than I could do right now!!
